1. Overview

Kids Social is a parental control application provided by AGRSOFT LTD. You can delete your Kids Social account, and all of the personal data associated with it, at any time. This page explains how to do that, what is deleted, what may be kept and for how long, and how we confirm that a deletion request genuinely comes from the account holder.

Only a parent or guardian holds a Kids Social account. Children do not have accounts, so all deletion is carried out by the account-holding adult.

2. Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest, recommended)

The quickest and most secure way to delete your account is from inside the app, where you are already signed in:

Deletion is immediate and permanent, and it cannot be undone. We require your password at this step so that only you — the signed-in account holder — can delete your account.

3. What is deleted

When you delete your account, we immediately and permanently remove the following from our live systems:

• your user record (email address, password hash, PIN hash, and all your settings);
• all approved-content records (the channels and videos you approved);
• all content-request records;
• all watch-history records;
• all Kids Mode playlist records.

4. What is kept, and for how long

When you delete your account, all of your data — including your watch history — is removed immediately and permanently from our live systems, as listed in Section 3. The only copy that may briefly remain is a routine backup:

• Backups: a copy of your data may remain in a routine encrypted server backup for a short time after deletion. These backups rotate automatically and any such copy is permanently purged within 10 days.
• Legal retention: in limited cases we may retain a minimal amount of information where we are required to do so by law.

5. Option 2 — Can't sign in? Request deletion by email

If you are unable to sign in to the app (for example, you have forgotten your password and cannot reset it), you can ask us to delete your account by email:

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

6. How we confirm it is really you

To protect your account, we only act on a deletion request once we can confirm it comes from the genuine account holder. We will never delete an account simply because someone enters an email address. We verify identity in one of two ways:

• In the app: you are already signed in and you re-enter your password, which confirms you own the account.
• By email: the request must come from the email address that is registered to the account. Because only you can send and receive mail from your own inbox, this confirms the request is yours. If we have any doubt, we may ask you to confirm the request before we act, to prevent anyone else from deleting your account.

This means a deletion request made by anyone other than the verified account holder will not be actioned.
